The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, shared some lovely photos of his big family.
Recently, Naij.com made a photo compilation of Emir Sanusi’s favourite women: wives and daughters. Now it’s boys’ turn.
There is not much information about the Emir of Kano’s family,
however, Sanusi has an Instagram account where he from time to time shares photos of himself with family members.
Check out photos of Sanusi’s sons below:
All in all, Sanusi has 12 children, five boys and seven girls, from three different wives, Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam, and Rakiya.
Over a month ago, Sanusi has married Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa as his fourth wife. After he married the 18-year-old daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, he has come under harsh criticism after.
Responding to the criticism, Sanusi said that those who see something filthy about the sacred bond should buy themselves a new brain.

Yesterday, November 15, Sanusi II has rejected allegations by the former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, that the news of the ‘missing $20 billion’ was all his fabrication.
Sanusi’s children take after father a lot. For example one of his daughters, Yusra Khadija Muhammadu Sunusi II, decided to share her opinion in a rather sensitive topic. She said that in the era of social media women shouldn’t be judged by their physical appearance.
As a bonus, check out photo of Sanusi II as a kid. The photo captured the moment when he and his grandfather, Muhammadu Sanusi I, who was the Emir of Kano from 1953 to 1963, returned from London to Kano airport in 1963.
“When I was a kid, we landed at Kano airport from London around 1963 with my grandfather Muhammad Sanusi.”
