I have applied for bailout to pay you, Wada assures workers

Governor Idris Wada has assured workers in the state that he has applied for the Federal Government bailout to enable him pay workers in the state.
Governor Wada spoke in Mopa during the PDP rally in the town where he said that he has fulfilled his promises to the people even as he sought the support of the people for a second term in order to complete his ongoing projects and start new ones.
Assuring that he will soon secure the bailout fund in order to offset salary arrears of civil servants, he said:
“I was surprised when some people said we didn’t apply for bailout. If we didn’t apply for bailout, why did the Federal Government publish the amount approved for our state?
“I am aware that some people are plotting against our access to the bailout fund for political reasons. But I want to assure you that President Buhari is a man of integrity who would not yield to the antics of those working against the interest of the Kogi workers. Our President is the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
